Year 10 Football

The Y10’s drew 4-4 (our scorers were Elliot P x2, Oli G and Jack T) after a thriller against Marden last night in the U15’s cup, showing great resilience to come from behind twice. Unfortunately, we lost 12-11 on penalties. The lads were great and conducted themselves brilliantly in what is a very cruel way to lose a game. #Respect

Netball Results

On Thursday 24th October, our Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 netball teams travelled to Bede Academy in Blyth for a fixture. All three teams demonstrated excellent teamwork throughout their matches and some brilliant netball was played with both Year 9 and 10 winning their matches. Green Careers Week 4th – 9th November

A green career can be any job, role or occupation that contributes to preserving or restoring the environment and our planet. It can be in any industry, not just those seen as ‘green’.  Green skills can be regarded as skills, attitudes, values and attributes, supported by knowledge to adapt services, processes and procedures to support climate change.  Change is inevitable.

Year 9 Boys Football

Despite playing way below their best the Year 9 boys managed to win 4-2 away at Bede Academy. The goals were scored by Charlie H, Lucas P, Dan C & Hugh A.  A good start to the season with 2 wins from their first 2 games. #Repsect #Engage #Aspire

Year 10 Netball

The Year 10 Netball team represented QE in the U16 country Netball tournament. The girls demonstrated great teamwork and played some excellent netball in very windy conditions. Well done! #Respect #Engage #Aspire

Year 9 & 10 Rugby

Rugby Tournament – Kingston Park

Some students took part in a varsity style rugby tournament against Ponteland High School on Friday the 18th of October. Around 110 students between the ages of 11-18 played in 5 different games at the Newcastle Falcons ground at Kingston Park. Rotary Competitions

The Rotary competitions give participants the chance to express themselves through art, photography and writing, the competitions are run over three stages, club level, district and culminating in the national final. The theme for 2024-25 is ‘Wonderful Water’ The competition is open to three age groups:• Junior Up to 10 years• Intermediate 11 – 13 years• Senior 14 – 17
