u15 Girls Cricket Champions

We are delighted that our Under 15 Girls Cricket Team won the North of England Outdoor Cricket Competition. They beat off competition from Yorkshire and Durham and comfortably won the tournament, winning all 5 games! They have been awesome all year and deserve huge congratulations for their success. Go Global Day 2019

Today has seen our Year 11 students embracing cultures from around the world through dance and drama, exploring important global issues such as conservation and trying out new skills such as guerrilla knitting, African drumming and mindfulness. Whilst most of the sessions have been created and delivered by QEHS the day has also been supported by local organisations West End

Skiing Achievements

The QEHS Ski Team has had a great year with finishing fourth in the English Schools Ski Association English final in Norfolk. One of the team members, Mia C, has also had a fantastic year of competing, finishing fourth in the English Schools Ski Association final for u16 girls; competing and finishing in the top 20 at the English Championships

Morocco Trip 2019

Mr Jones has sent through some photos of the Morocco Trip,  including the group on their arrival and then working on community projects to help improve infrastructure for villages in the area by creating a water supply from nearby spring: digging trenches and laying the pipes! 

German Exchange

Mrs Bevan has sent through pictures of the German exchange group, who have joined up with American students from Connecticut, also in Steinhagen for an exchange.  They have had an early start today (Tuesday) for the day trip to Berlin, including stop-offs at the Bundestag, the Traenenpalast, Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, amongst many other famous Berlin

Walled Garden Open Day

There will be an Open Day of our Victorian Walled Garden at QEHS on Sunday 7 July 2019 (1.00pm – 6.00pm). During the Open Day there will be refreshments available, a raffle, a plant stall, and a chance to explore the garden.  Entrance is £2.00 (under 18s free).
