Biology Competition

29 of our new year 12 students took part in the recent Intermediate Biology Olympiad. 3 students were commended, 5 highly commended, and an amazing 7 achieved silver- putting them in the top 15% of entrants in this National competition! Our silver award winners were: Matthew G, Elodie H, Robbie J, Jonah B, Ella-Mae P, Joshua W, and Hannah S.

Year 10 Life Skills

Silver DofE Update

We are so proud and impressed with the outstanding resilience of our Silvers battling torrential rain over the last few days. They worked well as teams, raising each other’ spirits and helping each other through the difficult conditions. Thankfully we had some sunshine on our final day and the groups celebrated passing their award with an ice cream! Well Done Silvers! #Respect

Galloway Residential Trip

This week, a group of 50 students from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed a three-day residential visit to Galloway Activity Centre in Scotland. They engaged in a wide range of activities, including kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, climbing, team building, archery, a waterpark, swing, and lazer tag! Over the course of the visit, students demonstrated excellent resilience and team building skills

Year 10 Business Studies

Morocco group update, 10/7/24

We’ve spent 4 fantastic days in Tacheddirt laying 700m of water pipe towards the spring that will give the village a much better fresh water supply. Our fundraising has paid for the remaining pipes and the village hope to complete the job in the next week or so. Muhammad and the rest of the village association were very thankful for

Silver Duke of Edinburgh

Good luck to our Silver D of E students who began their qualifying expedition this morning. The students will spend three days and two nights in the Lake District carrying all of their gear and completing a minimum of 7 hours journeying per day. They are in high spirits despite the weather! #Respect #Engage #Aspire
