This week, our Year 13 Geography A Level students undertook a fieldwork trip to Cresswell Dunes. Students were collecting data such as plant biodiversity, soil properties and dune topography to use in their independent NEA projects. Note: All students tested negative before the trip.
In the last half term, Year 11 and Year 13 students took part in the Royal Meteorological Society’s “Conference of the Parties” simulation activity. A group of Year 9 students have now completed a Peer Mentor training programme and achieved AQA Peer Mentoring and AQA Safeguarding & Disclosure accreditation. The training was designed and delivered in conjunction with the Northumbria Healthcare Trust ‘Be You’ team.
