On Tuesday 9 students from Years 11 – 13 took part in the first North Eastern Regional Ethics Cup competition at Durham University. All students demonstrated excellent public speaking, rational arguments and collegiality in their approach to some difficult and interesting topics. Saul was recently invited to London for the Heritage Crafts Award Winners Reception at Eltham Palace. Saul was presented with his bursary certificate to train in Heritage Craft Skills and met his benefactor, Mark Hobbs. Saul’s bursary is funded by the Anthony and Elizabeth Mellows Charitable Settlement and Kendrick Hobbs. While in London, Saul also studied the armour in the Wallace
