QEHS Rowing Club rowers are in the middle of a busy period of competitions. Saturday gone, saw 59 club members competing at the Hexham Regatta. Rowing – National School Championships
QEHS rowers competed at the National School Championships at the beginning of the half term holiday. Nat Schools is held at Eton Dorney Lake, the venue for the 2012 London Olympics. Support Workshop
Support workshops for parents and carers of children who display traits associated with, or have a diagnosis of, a neurodevelopmental condition including autism, sensory processing, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or Foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). A diagnosis is not needed. HINT ASD drop in sessions throughout June.
Duke of Edinburgh – Bronze Award Participants
Good luck to our 31 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze participants! The students will complete a minimum of six hours of walking today and tomorrow, with an overnight camp tonight. The students are wellprepared and very excited!
Year 9 Drama technical theatre design workshops:
QEHS year 9 year group have been finishing their KS3 drama lessons with some workshops which explored costume, lighting and set design. In the costume design workshop, students rose to the challenge of using a ‘lucky dip’ bag, where they had to use every item to design their new character of ‘half human/half ogre’!
