A group of eight Year 9 and 10 students enjoyed a fantastic two-day trip to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. On Wednesday, students watched several high-quality men’s and women’s doubles quarter-final matches on Court 2, as well as taking the opportunity to experience the incredible Wimbledon atmosphere across the grounds. On Tuesday, 42 students and 6 members of staff enjoyed an action-packed day at the Go Ape Treetop Adventure Plus course in Whinlatter.Our students were a real credit to the school, demonstrating excellent behaviour throughout the day. QEHS rowers competed in the Talkin Tarn Regatta. Talkin Tarn is a beautiful small lake situated near Brampton in Cumbria. It is our last local competition of the year and it’s always a firm favourite amongst the QEHS rowers.
