Freshers Fair & MacMillan Refreshments Sale

The Sixth Form Team will be selling refreshments at the Freshers’ Fair next Friday, 13th September, as their contribution to the national Macmillan coffee morning. If you would like to send in baked or bought donations, we would really appreciate it. Donations can be sent to school on Friday 13th.A reminder to please also include allergen details with your baked goods.

Extra-Curricular Fair

Our annual ‘Extracurricular Activities Fair’ took place today. Students in Y9-11 were given the opportunity to sign up to clubs and activities during, after and outside of school. If your child is in Y9-11, please encourage them to take part in a club or activity! Students who take part in extra-curricular activities will be ‘happier, healthier and more successful’! #Respect #Engage #Aspire

Welcome Back!

Welcome to the new school year! On Wednesday 4th SeptemberWe are looking forward to welcoming our new Y9 students.Our Y13 students are also back to school and should arrive for 11am to attend their assembly. On Thursday 5th SeptemberAll years will be back to school.Our Year 12 students should meet at the Queen’s Hall at 9am.

Staff at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham, are delighted with the results achieved by students in their examinations this year. The school presented over 300 students for a wide range of qualifications. The majority of students have achieved the results required to continue to sixth form. Others have successfully gained entry to colleges and apprenticeships due to their results. 85%
