We have had a fantastic two days in London. On Monday all students attended the PolEcon conference hearing questions put to politicians including: Nigel Farage, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Michael Gove, Stephen Kinnock and Stella Creasy. Last week Year 11 Geographers set out to investigate “Is the quality of life in Jesmond better than in Benwell?” They conducted primary fieldwork techniques, including traffic counts, an environmental quality survey and interviews with local residents. Last weekend, QEHS attended Rutherford Head, one of the biggest races in the region. It attracts crews from all over the north of England, as well as many from Scotland and even Oxfordshire.
