History, Politics & Classics Trip
We have had a fantastic two days in London. On Monday all students attended the PolEcon conference hearing questions put to politicians including: Nigel Farage, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Michael Gove, Stephen Kinnock and Stella Creasy. Geography Field Trip
Last week Year 11 Geographers set out to investigate “Is the quality of life in Jesmond better than in Benwell?” They conducted primary fieldwork techniques, including traffic counts, an environmental quality survey and interviews with local residents. Well done to them for their dedication and teamwork.
Drama Career Talk
On Friday, our year 12 Drama students had a visit from Susan Betts, a freelance Youth Theatre Director, currently based in our very own Queen’s Hall Arts Centre. Susan came to talk to the students about her own career journey, with a chance for students to ask questions about pursuing roles in the Performing Arts Industry. Furthermore, Susan was offering
QEHS Rowing Club at Rutherford Head
Last weekend, QEHS attended Rutherford Head, one of the biggest races in the region. It attracts crews from all over the north of England, as well as many from Scotland and even Oxfordshire. With only quads, fours and eights being raced, it was the years 11, 12 and 13 representing QEHS. Division 1 saw very fast conditions for racing, with

Healthy Relationships Presentation
