Rotary Competitions

The Rotary competitions give participants the chance to express themselves through art, photography and writing, the competitions are run over three stages, club level, district and culminating in the national final. The theme for 2024-25 is ‘Wonderful Water’ The competition is open to three age groups:• Junior Up to 10 years• Intermediate 11 – 13 years• Senior 14 – 17

LAMDA Success

Our first cohort of LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) students received their gold medals and certificates for their highly successful results for public speaking and acting. Schools Team Swimming Championships

Last Thursday, the students took part in the Schools Team Swimming Championships for the North East Region. The QEHS Outdoor Gym

We were delighted this week to welcome Councillor Fairless-Aitken and Mayor Kennedy to the high school to see the outdoor gymequipment that was installed. Last week our cross country teams travelled to Temple Park for the first round of the English Schools Cup cross country team event. In appalling conditions, the runners were fantastic.
