Our Autumn Concert will take place on Monday 11 November 2019, starting at 7pm in the Winter Gardens. The concert will showcase a number of our talented musicians, including Girls Choir, Boys Choir, School Choir, Sixth Form Choir, Hydroholics, Northumbrian Pipes, Flute Ensemble, Jazz Band, Wind Band, String Quartet and Ensemble. QEHS are working together with West Northumberland Food Bank to help combat the growing problem of food poverty. West Northumberland Food Bank are a network of local volunteers and organisations who collect tinned and dried food that has been donated by local people. QEHS Youth Theatre provides opportunities for young people to participate in a prestigious theatre production, giving them the stage to perform their work. This annual event attracts a wide audience of around 700 people from across Hexham and the surrounding area. The Human Rights Group are collecting to provide destitute refugees at the West End Refugee Service (WERS) with warm clothing as the weather turns colder. If you have any warm clothes and winter shoes that are in good condition and are clean, please could you tie them securely in a plastic bag and give them to your daughter or son
The first totals for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon are in: so far we have raised an amazing £875! A huge thank you to the students and parents who baked and bought an enormous amount of cake. Our 50 Sixth Form volunteers served over 1100 students a cake and a drink last Friday afternoon (see below for some photos of the
