Mr Wilde, our Curriculum Leader for Technology, went into school during the Easter holidays and manufactured 21 sets of adjustable headbands and 88 face shields; all of this will be passed on to the NHS who are in urgent need of the PPE. Last week our German Exchange group welcomed their exchange partners from Germany to Hexham for a week. The German students had a packed week full of activities, including visits to Newcastle, Durham, the Beamish Museum, a day taking part in lessons at QEHS, and a joint trip with their QEHS partners to Edinburgh.
