PPE Contribution

Mr Wilde, our Curriculum Leader for Technology, went into school during the Easter holidays and manufactured 21 sets of adjustable headbands and 88 face shields; all of this will be passed on to the NHS who are in urgent need of the PPE. A big thank you to Mr Wilde for going in during the holiday to get this equipment made

Our Pastoral Team has written a letter to parents/carers and students, with well-being advice for students during the school closure. The advice is adapted from that given by Paula Nagel, Principal Educational Psychologist at Place2Be, a national charity which supports children’s’ mental health. German Exchange 2020

Last week our German Exchange group welcomed their exchange partners from Germany to Hexham for a week. The German students had a packed week full of activities, including visits to Newcastle, Durham, the Beamish Museum, a day taking part in lessons at QEHS, and a joint trip with their QEHS partners to Edinburgh.
