Year 13 students listened intently to Professor Morgan, Head of Computing at Newcastle University, in today’s lunchtime session. 29 of our new year 12 students took part in the recent Intermediate Biology Olympiad. 3 students were commended, 5 highly commended, and an amazing 7 achieved silver- putting them in the top 15% of entrants in this National competition! We are so proud and impressed with the outstanding resilience of our Silvers battling torrential rain over the last few days. They worked well as teams, raising each other’ spirits and helping each other through the difficult conditions. Thankfully we had some sunshine on our final day and the groups celebrated passing their award with an ice cream! Well Done Silvers! #Respect
