QEHS Rowing Club rowers are in the middle of a busy period of competitions. Saturday gone, saw 59 club members competing at the Hexham Regatta. QEHS rowers competed at the National School Championships at the beginning of the half term holiday. Nat Schools is held at Eton Dorney Lake, the venue for the 2012 London Olympics. This event has the strongest crews from across the country competing. For Junior rowers, Nat schools is considered as the premier event to compete in. After a long journey

Support workshops for parents and carers of children who display traits associated with, or have a diagnosis of, a neurodevelopmental condition including autism, sensory processing, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or Foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). A diagnosis is not needed. HINT ASD drop in sessions throughout June.

Today the Violence Reduction Unit of Northumbria Police were in school to speak to Y9 students on the risks associated with carrying knives and the dangers of being involved in ‘Joint Enterprise’.
