Sicily Day 4 & 5
In their final days in Sicily, sixth form students visited the island of Vulcano, where they trekked up to the crater, steaming with sulphur. They ended the trip with some coastal swimming, heated by the geothermal waters of a hot spring. They return to Hexham today with pockets filled with volcanic rocks. #Respect #Engage #Aspire

Thanks to the support of parents and Tynedale Harriers, last week, QEHS students attended the English School’s 1st Round of the Cross Country Teams Event. All runners gave outstanding effort to achieve fantastic results in all races and were an absolute credit in terms of their conduct and aspirations.
