Northumberland Youth Parliament & Cabinet Election voting takes place this week. Young people aged 11-19 across Northumberland will be voting for their next Youth Cabinet and UK Youth Parliament members.
We have one student standing for the Youth Cabinet this year.
Ian P, in year 10, is campaigning for:
- Weather warning systems to better protect us against damaging weather events.
- Proper road maintenance and repair to save lives and prevent damage to private vehicles.
- Better ambulance response times.
Students will be able to see the manifestos of all the candidates across the county and can vote for anyone standing.
