Year 11 Chess Final
Many congratulations to Sam A who beat Adam W in the final of the Year 11 chess competition today. The match was played during chess club itself, with many of those who had taken part in the knock-out competition there to witness an entertaining match, gathering closely around the players to create a great atmosphere. Commiserations to Adam who did well to get to the final against tough opponents in earlier rounds, and congratulations again to Sam who goes on to face Peter and Philip, the respective winners of the Year 9 and 10 finals, in a champion or champions event later this half-term.
