Rowing Success!

A huge congratulations to Queen Elizabeth High School students Harry W and Jacob L, who won Gold in the J15 2x at the British Junior Championships held in Scotland over the weekend. They came second out of 38 crews in the time trial, and then stormed through the semi finals to get Gold in the A Final, with a dominant performance.

 

Lily T (Cox) and Cassie A also medalled at the Championships in their Women’s J15 Coxed Quad. They had a fantastic time trial placing them first out of 27 crews. In the A Final they secured an outstanding Silver medal in a very tough race, battling the windy weather conditions.
