Wednesday 2nd March marked one year since beloved PE Teacher, Chris Scott, died. In memory of Chris, the PE Department held a fundraising afternoon with a bake sale, sporting activities, pizza from Fire & Dough and a minute’s silence to remember the inspirational man Chris was.
The total raised was an phenomenal £3,576.24 which will be split between two charities, Tynedale Hospice at Home and the British Heart Foundation.
Mr Armstrong said “The Sixth form were so respectful on the day. I thought the atmosphere and spirit on the afternoon was brilliant and it was a fitting tribute to Scotty. I am sure he would have loved to see so many students taking part.”
