QEHS is pleased to be part of the second phase of the Accelerator Schools Autism Project provided by the NHS North of England Commissioning Support Unit.
The purpose of the Project is to offer a range of activities in relation to improving knowledge and understanding of Schools, Parent Carers and Children/Young People about Autism and how young people with autism can be supported in the school setting.
Alongside this the Learning Disability Network has been working with a small expert steering group to develop a web app for parents and carers of children and young people with learning disabilities. The app is called ‘Learning Disability Matters for Families’ (see images below) and their website can be found at https://learningdisabilitymatters.co.uk/
