A group of our Year 12 students are helping to raise money for Tynedale Hospice at Home by creating a distinct retail space in their store for a few weeks. After some fantastic training by RE in Corbridge, they have decided on the theme of autumn into winter.
Please could you support the Year 12 volunteers with their first venture into retail by sending in donations of hats, scarves (of all types), gloves, belts and especially handbags you or your relatives no longer use. The students would like bags of all sizes and styles – modern or vintage, the hospice shop manager says that they will sell really well and so we will need lots of them. In addition, if you have odd gloves lying around we might be able to use these as part of the merchandising display, so please send those in too.
Donated items can be given into Rebecca in the Curriculum Office on E Floor of the Hydro or Steve Wilson in the Pastoral Office on A Floor of the main school.
The students are aiming to install their retail space on 19 November 2019 in the Hexham store, so please look out for it!
