Saul was recently invited to London for the Heritage Crafts Award Winners Reception at Eltham Palace. Saul was presented with his bursary certificate to train in Heritage Craft Skills and met his benefactor, Mark Hobbs. Saul’s bursary is funded by the Anthony and Elizabeth Mellows Charitable Settlement and Kendrick Hobbs.
While in London, Saul also studied the armour in the Wallace Collection and the armour and wrought iron work in the V&A and the British Museum.
