Queen Elizabeth High School wishes to appoint a teacher of maths. The successful candidate’s timetable will potentially include GCSE and A-Level maths classes. Our maths department is outstanding and achieves some of the best outcomes in the North East. The subject is very popular in the school curriculum, with up to 70 students each year choosing to study maths as one of their A-Level options and a further 20 choosing further maths in the sixth form. We expect our teachers to have the necessary subject knowledge to teach high achieving A-Level students and the skills to be able to inspire, motivate and support all students, whatever their needs or abilities.
