In year 9, students at Queen Elizabeth High School will study the national curriculum with continued exposure to a wide range of subjects. The variety of experiences will enable students to progress to a broad and balanced curriculum at Key Stage 4.
We want our students to maintain breadth in year 9 and through their exposure to the high school curriculum make informed choices about their next stage of study. We believe that key stage 3 is the engine of the curriculum and year 9 is the culmination of the students’ educational journey through this key stage from middle to high school.
