Friday 17 November 2017 will be a non-uniform day in support of two charities – Children in Need and Movember.

QEHS has been supporting Children in Need by selling Pudsey Bear and Blush Bear pin badges. Students are able to buy a pin badge for £1 from the LRC, Reception, Hydro Office, Sixth Form Café or Pastoral Office. Donations can be handed in at the above collection points too. We will ask for a minimum £1 donation from students in order to wear non-uniform however they do not need to do this if they have already purchased one of the limited edition pin badges.

Several teachers are sporting fledgling moustaches to raise money for Movember and donation buckets are available in the same areas around the school.

We continue to feel great pride in the QE students due to their charitable nature and endeavours and we are sure that Friday will be a very enjoyable day.

Winter Clothing Collection for West End Refugee Service (WERS) until 24 November 2017.

The Human Rights Group are collecting earlier this year in order to provide destitute refugees with warm clothing as the weather turns, rather than wait until Christmas, as in the past.

If you have any warm clothes and shoes that are in good condition and are clean, please could you tie them securely in a plastic bag and give them to your daughter or son to place in the marked boxes in the foyer.
