They listened to some fascinating lectures on Clinical psychology, exploring types of Anxiety Disorders and the current research being conducted at Northumbria. Trips and Visits Day – Go Ape

On Trips and Visits day students had the opportunity to visit Go Ape in Whinlatter to do the Treetop Adventure+ course. Students were incredibly brave taking on some activities very high up in the trees, but still had lots of fun and supported each other very well. Intermediate Biology Olympiad

Year 13 Biologists recently took part in the prestigious “Intermediate Biology Olympiad”. This really stretches and challenges their understanding of Biology and their ability to apply their knowledge to real life situations. DiSH August Dates

A free series of events for families to attend. DiSH stands for Dinner in School Holidays. A fresh meal is provided in each session, made with fresh ingredients that are often locally sourced. DofE Silver Update

Our Silver Duke of Edinburgh groups continue to impress us battling blisters and bites on their final day in North Northumberland. We had another peaceful night at the campsite, and students have explored ancient stone circles and a waterfall.
