European Youth Parliament Competition

Congratulations to our fantastic year 12 team who impressed the judges in the regional round of the European Youth Parliament competition yesterday and have progressed to the National Final! Students prepared rounds of debates against other schools on the subject of universal free school meals, immigration policies and sustainable tourism. Sixth Form – RED Engineering Visit

QEHS Winter Concert

The QEHS Winter Concert was a roaring success last half term! The concert, held in the Winter Gardens, was full-to-capacity as audience members watched a jam-packed programme of around 80 performers, featuring the school’s Show Choir, Wind Band, Jazz Ensemble, Session Singers, QEHS Choir, Soul Band, String Ensemble and a whole host of high-standard solos and duets. Year 9 Girls’ Rugby

Well done to the Year 9 girls who took part in a community festival held at Kingston Park, home of the Newcastle Red Bulls. Girls experienced playing on the first team pitch (albeit in very wet & cold conditions!)
