  • Year 11 results can be collected by the student at 9am on Thursday 24 August 2017 from the Winter Gardens (if alternative arrangements for issuing the results are required, an alternative issue form should have been completed by 11 July 2017: we cannot guarantee an alternative issue of results for forms received after this date).
  • The Exams Office will be open Friday 25 August and Tuesday 29 August to Thursday 31 August 9am – 12:30pm to support you.
  • Year 10 students that sat a unit exam for either Sports Science and/or Health and Social Care in the summer exam series will receive their result once they return to school in September.

  • Students who have not met the entry requirements for one or more of their eligible course choices will be invited to an appointment on either Friday 25 August, Tuesday 29 or Wednesday 30 August 2017.
  • Students who have met the entry requirements for their chosen courses but wish to request a change of subject will be able to meet a member of the Curriculum Team on Tuesday 5 September 2017 by surname at the following times:
    • A - B 9.00 am – 10.00 am
    • C - G 10.15 am – 11.15 am
    • H - L 11.45 am – 12.30 pm
    • M - Q 1.30 pm – 2.15 pm
    • R – Z 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
  • Students who had not previously made option choices for Sixth Form but now wish to will be met on Wednesday 6 September 2017 to discuss the courses open to them.
  • New option blocks will be available on the school website; however some options are subject to availability.

School Start Dates

  • Year 12 starts on Thursday 7 September 2017 with Enrolment Day
  • Students’ subject courses are confirmed and they are given advice before selecting which enhancement courses to take.

Careers/Further Education advice

  • For students who do not meet the minimum entry requirement for Sixth Form or for students who have changed their mind about their plans, Elaine McStravick, our Careers Advisor, will be in school on Friday 25 August 2017 to meet students and their parents/carers – you can email This email address is being protected from spambots.
